Batata à murro
A very easy recipe for baked potatoes, which can be found on every Portuguese table as a side dish.

Preparation steps
- Step 1 : Wash the Potatoes well because they are eaten with the skin.
- Step 2 : Cook the Potatoes in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes.
- Step 3 : Drain Potatoes and place between two dish towels. Mash them very lightly by punching each one.
- Step 4 : Place the Potatoes in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with Olive oil and a little Salt.
- Step 5 : Cook in the oven for about ten minutes at 180°C to brown them.
- Serve as a side dish with grilled meat or fish. They can also be enjoyed in a vegetarian dish, with fried eggs and a salad for example.
