Filhoses
These little doughnuts are traditionally eaten at Christmas. They can be served with sugar, jam or spread, a bit like pancakes.

Ingredients
Flour
300 grams
Eggs

Baking powder
1 pack
Orange
1
Water
200 milliliters
Salt
1 pinch
Frying oil
to taste
Preparation steps
- Step 1 : Wash and grate the Orange to collect the zest. Squeeze one half of the orange and keep the juice.
- Step 2 : Mix the Flour, the Baking powder and the pinch of Salt.
- Step 3 : Add the whole Eggs. Mix, then add the Orange juice and Water little by little. Mix again, until you get a homogeneous paste. Add the orange zest last.
- Step 4 : Heat a little oil in a frying pan and pour the dough in circles of about 10/15cm in diameter (like pancakes).
- Step 5 : Turn the filhoses over. They are cooked when they are golden on both sides.
- Step 6 : Blot off excess fat by placing filhose on paper towels.
- Serve with sugar, jams, spreads...
