Ingredients

Green bean
400 grams
Flour
125 grams
Eggs
2
Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Frying oil
1 liter
Water
10 centiliters
Salt
1 pinch

Preparation steps

  • Step 1 : Start by washing and remove the tail ends from the Green beans. If you are using flat beans, cut them into 10 cm pieces.
  • Step 2 : Cook the Green beans in boiling water for about 5 minutes. They should be slightly cooked. Drain and let cool.
  • Step 3 : Prepare the dough for frying. Put the Flour in a bowl and make a well. Add Olive oil, a pinch of Salt and Water. Mix lightly, starting in the middle and working outwards.
  • Step 4 : Add the Eggs and mix vigorously until you obtain a soft and homogeneous paste. If it is too liquid, you can add a little Flour and if it is too thick, a little water.
  • Step 5 : Dip the beans in the batter so that they are well coated and then dip them in very hot oil for a few minutes. Once the dough is golden, it's ready! Drain and place the peixinhos on paper towels before eating.
