Rooster in ceramic

Great Portuguese symbol, the rooster is a timeless and very appreciated decoration. This one is handmade and painted in Coimbra, according to the ancestral traditions of this region.

The floral decorations are inspired by the 17th century Coimbra ceramics. 

The rooster is very common in Portugal because it's an illustration of the famous legend of the Rooster of Barcelos, which made this animal the emblem of the country.
