In the Algarve, a region in the south of Portugal, there is the only zip line in the world that allows you to cross a border. You fly in the air in Spain and yet, you land in Portugal!
This atypical zip line even allows to cross a river, the Guadiana. You will have to park your car in Alcoutim, then take a boat to cross the Guadiana (there is a ferry service that crosses the river constantly between Alcoutim and Sanlúcar).

If you park your car near the end of the zip line, it's a 20 minute walk and an 8 minute boat ride to the starting point.
Guaranteed sensations on 720 meters long, at a speed of 70-80km/h and with a breathtaking view on the landscape.
