Discover the Lisbon region with our guide

The district of Lisbon is full of interesting places to visit, even outside the capital. Located between the regions of Central and Alentejo, it is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean on a large part of its territory, and by the mouth of the Tagus River in the south.

Of course, the city of Lisbon is a must: do not hesitate to spend a few days there to discover its lively atmosphere and its historical monuments.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the district is home to several incredible natural areas, including the Tagus Estuary Nature Reserve. Located only fifty kilometers from Lisbon, this wild area is home to many species of birds, including flamingos in the fall.

On the other side, in the west, you should not miss Sintra and its Natural Park. Nestled in an incredible landscape, there are many castles and palaces to visit. On the coast, the forest meets the ocean and the long sandy beaches are a paradise for surfers and nature lovers.
