Nair

Nair is a Portuguese artisan who produces entirely natural cosmetics. Soaps, shampoos, and body balms are all handmade in her workshop.

Before founding her own business, Nair traveled and lived all around the world. She was a pilot before returning to her family's land and establishing her brand there.

Located in the heart of Tras-os-Montes, Nair's workshop and home draw inspiration from the surrounding nature and plants to create products that are both natural and effective.

The soaps contain olive oil, known for its excellent moisturizing properties, as well as hydrosols and powders made by Nair and her husband from local plants. The soaps are cold-processed, which is the best method for preserving all the properties of the ingredients.

Creating a natural soap requires a lot of knowledge and patience. It starts with crafting the perfect recipe, a combination of natural components that make the product effective and enjoyable to use. After mixing, the soaps need to rest for 24 hours in a wooden mold before being cut. Finally, they must air dry for at least 2 months. This period is essential for the soap to harden and become long-lasting.
