This surprising dessert, creamy and sweet, is made with vermicelli cooked in milk. It is usually eaten at Christmas.

Ingredients

Vermicelli
125 grams
Milk
500 milliliters
Sugar
80 grams
Unsalted butter
20 grams
Egg yolks
2
Cinnamon stick
1
Lemon zests
2
Cinnamon powder
to taste

Preparation steps

  • Step 1 : In a saucepan, pour the Milk and put the Cinnamon stick, Lemon zests, Unsalted butter and Sugar.
  • Step 2 : Heat the Milk. When it starts to boil, add the Vermicelli, mix and let cook for 3 minutes.
  • Step 3 : Beat the Egg yolks in a bowl and add a little hot Milk. Mix well, then pour this mixture into the pan.
  • Step 4 : Mix the Vermicelli and let it thicken for a few minutes on very low heat. The texture should become creamy.
  • Step 5 : Remove Cinnamon stick and Lemon zests. Pour into a plate and let cool.
  • Step 6 : Decorate with Cinnamon powder and serve.
